Hello, sorry I haven’t posted in a while, life has been kind of crazy with the situation of the world right now. Anyway, let’s just get straight to the topic of the blog post. Animal Crossing New Horizons could not have been released at a better time. I mean, the game is you being able to be outdoors (on an island to be exact) while we have to be indoors. Anyway, here are 5 things I love about Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Number 1: Online Multiplayer: Animal Crossing New Horizons allows you to play online with your friends, so even if you can’t go see a friend in the real world, Animal Crossing New Horizons allows you to be together on an island, what more could you want?

Number 2: Character Customization and Custom Designs: I feel like there are so many different possibilities with character customization in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Just from starting the game, there are so many choices for hair, hair color, eye, eye color, mouths, and noses (okay, maybe not that many choices for noses, there are only 3). Not only that, but if you can obtain a mirror, you unlock even more choices to customize your character, so you really feel like you are on the island, not the character you created There are also custom designs, which you can create any picture you want and put it on the floor, as face paint, as a shirt, or as a hat!
Number 3: Amount of Time of Gameplay per Day: Animal Crossing New Horizons is made so well because let’s say for example, you only have ten minutes to play today, okay, not too bad, I can still earn some money and pay off a chunk of my loan, but tomorrow you can play for 2 hours, you can play for 2 hours and not run out of gameplay. To make it simple, you can play for as long as you want every day and still get everything you need to get done.
Number 4: No In-App Purchases: Animal Crossing New Horizons is a simulation game that, like I said at the top of this post, couldn’t be released at a better time. I love the fact that ACNH has no In-App Purchases, so after you buy the game, the rest is free (yes, I am aware that you can use an Amiibo to invite someone to your islands campsite but that is optional and someone can visit your campsite without using an Amiibo). The last thing you want inside of a simulator game is In-App Purchases.
Number 5: New Features: Although I have (hardcore Animal Crossing fans, brace yourself) never played an Animal Crossing game before New Horizons, I am aware that there are some new features introduces in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Crafting is the biggest new feature (in my opinion) that got me into playing the game in the first place. Crafting adds a new thing to look forward to when playing the game. There are also Nook Miles, and a NookPhone, both are new features as well. Nook Miles are pretty much another currency from your standard Bells, and a good way to track your progress.
Those were 5 things I loved about Animal Crossing New Horizons. If you think there is anything I missed in the blog post, please let me know in the comments. Anyway, let me go ahead and see how much Tom Nook is going to scam me today!
He almost scammed me 😦
